XLS8 Series Surge Protective Device
Product Description
Surge protective device of series XLS8 is used as a protector during the lightening strike or other transient overvoltage for the power supply system of AC 50Hz/60Hz, 380V and those of below, usch as TT, TN-C, IT,TN-C-S, etc. And its applied to the equipment systems in the area with higher lightning strike risk as Level I lightning protection, Its Class I surge protective device designed according to the standard of IEC 61643. 1:1988-02.
The surge protective device of B accords with GB18802.I/IEC61643-1.

Mounted Position and Application
Class B lightning current SPD protection; used as potential connection during the lightning strike
Usually mounted in the principal electric power distribution cabinet on incoming line wired on stilts
The protector adopts standard track of 35mm
You should make a clear indication of the type, specification and quantity of SPD when you make orders
The protection is connected by copper leading wire of 1035mm2;the earth wire should be double red leading wire of more than 16 mm2
